Ex-Police Officer Attacks Wife With Cutlass, Bottle And Club.

Police in Ondo State are on the trail of an ex-police officer, Tajudeen Adeniyi, over an attempt to kill his wife, Moyosola, by macheting her, inflicting a 10-centimetre deep gash on her head.

The 38-year-old suspect took to his heels immediately he inflicted the injury on his wife who has  had four children for him.

Adeniyi, according to investigation, has gone underground following the hint he got that the family of the wife had reported the incident to the Police.

How Beautiful Lautech Student, Seun Adaramoye Was Murdered

Oluwaseun Adaramoye, until her death was an undergraduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Lautech. Seun left her hostel last week Sunday to visit her boyfriend and that was the last time she was seen alive. Ngozi her friend explains how Seun left them that evening to her boyfriend's place while they were all chatting. Seun's murdered picture below. Viewers discretion is advised please.


“Seun Adaramoye was an 100 level accounting student, she stayed in Stadium area around Lawyer Ahmed Junction, she’s a hostel mate and also my friend. On Sunday evening (16th of June), we were all gisting outside the hostel as we normally do and around 5pm, Seun just said she’s coming and left. She was on casual outfits like all of us, so we thought she had gone to the junction to buy stuffs but she went to her best friend’s place not far from the hostel.
   
“When Seun was leaving her best friend’s apartment, she told her that she wants to quickly get to her boyfriend’s place in Oke-Anu around 7pm on that same Sunday evening and that was the last time we both saw Seun.

“We didn’t even notice on time that she hasn’t returned cos she’s a female and no one can monitor a grown lady, so we assume that she should be with her boyfriend Lanre(REAL NAME) not until wednesday morning when Seun refused to show up for her last paper. Her friend came to check on her in the hostel and it was then that she informed us that Seun is no where to be found, we searched and searched for Seun but all to no avail.

On Thursday morning, we decided to report her dissappearance to the school authorities, that was when we heard the news of a dead body which was discovered at the back of Jastok Guest House…On getting there, we couldn’t identify the body because several parts of her body had been cut off, her breast, one hand, half her head was gone. We were eventually able to recognise Seun by her hairdo and mark on her leg, her birth mark and the remains of her cloth on the body.

So the police and the SUG were invited and they went after the boyfriend who had obviously absconded, so he has not been arrested as been speculated but his best friend was arrested. People thought he was arrested because of the search and the arrest of his best friend but he hasn’t been found till now, he’s gone into exile…On Searching Lanre’s house, the police found mysterious things like Calabash, Ladies Bra, Panties, Nails and several underwears.

Our friend Seun was NEVER a runs girl, she was a very gentle and loving soul, she was just unlucky to have fallen a victim of some desperate souls. She has since been buried by her brother here in Ogbomosho because the body was already decaying with worms all over and moreover it’s an uncompleted body and they won’t bury her like that in her hometown…May Her Soul RIP Forever”

Nigerian cab driver shot dead in Washington DC

57 year old cab driver Solomon James Okoroh (pictured above) was shot dead around 3am yesterday morning Tuesday June 4th in the 2400 block of Ontario Road, Adams Morgan, by two men who tried to rob him while riding in his cab, according to DC police.

The murder of Okoroh unfolded right in front of police, who took off after the suspects and chased them down under heavy gunfire.

Police say Solomon Okoroh was murdered around 3:15 a.m. Tuesday after picking up two men in his cab. Officers working a robbery detail in the neighborhood saw the cab in distress and then heard the gunshot before it crashed into a sign and parking meter near Ontario and Kalorama Roads.

The two suspects bailed out and got into a running gun battle with officers. Police caught one of them in the street, but the other tried to hide in a nearby apartment.

"There were 20 shots fired at them, 20 shots," said Jim Graham, (D-Ward 1) the D.C. councilmember who represents this part of the city. "The tragedy is horrible, but the remarkable thing is the police were right here."

Police caught and arrested both suspects. One of them, 32-year old Ercell Overton, is charged with first-degree murder, felony assault on a police officer and burglary. The other suspect, 24-year old Joshua King, is being held on an unrelated probation violation.

"What happened was there was an apparent robbery of a cab driver that led to the murder of that cab driver," Graham said explaining the apparent motive.

Okoroh had driven for Classic Cab Company for about 15 years. The company says he had a wife and five children. He was more than a cabbie to them, he was a friend.

"I tell you, all cab drivers are scared for this to happen, because say for $10 or $15 fee, not justified to die," said Chamroeum Muy at Classic Cab.

Those who knew Okoroh said he had been warned about the dangers, but wasn't one to discriminate.

"This is very terrible because he is one of the few guys that he will not pass anybody. He stops for everyone, he stops for anyone," said Evelyn Ruiz.

She last saw him Saturday when he came by Classic Cab to pick up his insurance card as he did every week.

Okoroh lived in Glenarden, Md. He leaves behind a wife and five children. His son, Prince, plays basketball at Howard University.

A friend read a statement from the family saying in part, "We are saddened such a senseless act took the precious life of Mr. Solomon Okoroh, a very spiritual man, a deacon that loves his church but more than that a family man that loves his family."

Police say the 57-year-old cabbie was shot in the shoulder and later died. Despite the heavy gunfire, neither the suspects nor police was hit.

Information available to us revealed that the ownership of the tiny tots is enmeshed in controversy as the first husband (Olumide) alleged that he was still married to the sexy thespian wife in the last nine month before she recently quit the marriage controversially without hinting him. Speaking from his base in Washington DC, United States of America, the Ile-Oluji, Ondo State born businessman said he's the biological father of the child, claiming that they were still married as husband and wife in the last 9 months.


"I heard that my wife delivered a baby boy barely two months after she made a release that we were divorced, and she's saying that the baby belongs to one Mr. Tunde Oriowo. That's a lie, wicked lie. I'm the biological father. I have pictures to show that we were always together, but she deliberately kept the pregnancy out of my knowledge."

He however said, "in other words, it might be the result of her extra-marital affair without my knowledge, because there were cases that she would leave me and our daughter in the US, come to Nigeria all in the name of promoting her movies but staying with married men in Lagos. I couldn't monitor her because I was not always in Nigeria."

Olu Mighty as Olumide is fondly called by friends vowed to take legal action, as well do DNA test to ascertain the child's paternity. According to him, I don't want to put laws into my hands. So, I have already notified my lawyers in the US and already contacted my lawyers in Nigeria about the matter, because she has many questions to answer. If she wants to proof herself right, I challenge her to go for DNA test because that would unveil the true father of the baby."

Olumide, the father of Laide Bakare's first daughter, Similoluwa equally noted that he's still legally married to the actress, saying that, "she's still my wife. We're legally married. She came to the States to deliver using my surname and my green card. It's just unfortunate she's using all the things I did for her to favour another man. So, our marriage is intact, legally. And if she wants to quit, legal action must be taken."

'Beggar' who sat outside Natwest bank with a 'hungry and homeless' sign raked in £300 A DAY while living in a £300,000 flat

A 'beggar' who claimed he was homeless and hungry for years was earning £50,000-plus a year and living it up in a £300,000 flat, a court heard.

Simon Wright, 37, sat outside a NatWest bank in his tatty clothes with his sleeping bag, his dog, and a hand-written sign telling of his plight.

Generous passers-by took pity on him and regularly gave him £200 to £300 a day. After 'work' he went home to his smart council flat, in Fulham, west London.

Police say he regularly went into a local bookmakers to change up his loose coins. On many occasions they added up to between £200 and £300.

Magistrates have now imposed a two-year ASBO banning him from begging anywhere in London, or from entering the SW15 postal area, where he regularly passers-by for cash.

PC Oliver Strebel, who was the officer in the case, said: 'He had a reputation for getting a lot of gifts while begging.
