The hidden world under the sea: Photographers capture beautiful images of Great Whites, wrecked planes and huge clouds of fish

These are just some of the spectacular shots that won prizes in the world's biggest underwater photography competition. Photographers from more than a hundred countries took inspiration from the myriad things to be found in the ocean, from bodies of fish, left, magnificent Great Whites mid-swim, centre, and sunken aircraft, right. The UK's Nick Blake was declared a Grand Master, picking up five medals for his work.
